Adventist Law Enforcement and
Public Servants in the Bahamas

There are 104 Adventist Law Enforcement and Publics Servants
in the Bahamas. The highest ranking police officer is Superintendent Teddy
McDonald of the Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is in charge
of the corruption investigation unit of the police force. Elaine Sands was
recently promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police. The annual
service of thanksgiving for the Adventist officers was held at the Living Faith
Seventh-day Adventist Church on February 14, 2002. In attendance was the
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, the Hon. Frank Watson,
and other officers in Government and the police force.
