Dear Friends,

We are very grateful to have another opportunity to stage another Jeff Rodgers basketball camp once again. This year as I look back over the past fourteen years, I have learned that the youth are searching for guidance. There are many influences out there that tempt and affect out children and I see the need to become one of these influences that help rather than hurt our future leaders.

I realized that in working with our youth it is important to be positive model, not only in basketball, but also in assisting them in knowing more about themselves as images of God. I know that God is real and our youth needs to see this through us and our actions. I encourage parents to acknowledge the presence of God in their lives and be in the Christ-like image for our children to pattern themselves after.

This year we anticipate a lot of excitement for our young people. As in previous camps I have invited a number of NBA players, other special guest, along with our qualified local team, to share with our campers. I know that they will enjoy themselves.

Thank you once again for allowing your child(ren) to participate in this year’s 16^th Annual Jeff Rodgers Basketball Camp.
