Opening Night Began with An Explosion
The Let God Speak Bible Campaign opened on Saturday night (September 13, 2003) with an explosion of the Holy Spirit. More than 3,500 visitors and members packed the two tents and even sat in their cars to listen to the dynamic Evangelist Guy Nembhard. The following day another tent was pitched to meet the needs of the growing crowd. Evangelist Nembhard kept the attention of the large crowd as he presented the message.  There were more than one thousand visitors attending.   You can hear the sermons online.

Dress Rehearsal Tonight at the Big Tent
Tonight, hundreds of Adventist members and leaders will meet under two colorful tents for the dress rehearsal for the big opening night, Saturday at 7:30. Excitement is in the air as members work together to put the finishing touches.

More than two thousand five hundred chairs will be set up under the tents. There will be a one hundred-voice choir and lots of great music. There is ample parking for hundreds of cars.

LIVE TRANSLATION
For the first time in the Adventist church in the Bahamas, there will be live Pastor St Fleurtranslation from English to Creole during the meetings. Pastor Edward St. Fleur, the pastor for three Haitian churches in Nassau, will use a low-powered FM translation device that allows each listener to use a regular FM radio. There are more than two thousand Adventist Haitians living on the island of New Providence and are all looking forward to hearing the message in their own language.

CONTINUOUS POWER
Not only will there be an ever-ready, continuous flow of the power of the Holy Spirit during the Let God Speak Bible Campaign, there will also be a continuous flow of electrical power,25 KW Generator thanks to our new 25 Kilowatts Olympus Generator. This generator was purchased by the Bahamas Conference due to the great difficulty and cost of obtaining temporary power supply.

At the beginning of the week for the tent preparation, Christiaan and Nadine Sawyer, members of the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church, were attending a crusade rally at Hillview Church and heard the appeal of Pastor  Leonard Johnson for prayers of members for God to open a way for electrical power to be supplied. This impressed the Sawyers to lend their 25 kilowatts generator to temporally supply the power needed for workers making preparation during night time.

The Sawyers are owners of a very successful business called SunRyse Shredding Services Mobile Document Destruction Company. This is the only company in Nassau specializing in the secure destruction of all types of company information contained on paper, video, or any computer media such as CDs or floppy disks. SunRyse business is conducted each day in the back of a giant enclosed truck equipped with the shredding equipment and a 25 kilowatts generator to run the business. This was the first time the Sawyers used the equipment for electrical power.  There power supply, along with the new generator, will provide even more back-up power during the crusade. The Sawyers can be contacted at chris.sawyer@coralwave.com   or 1-242-322-6448
