More than six hundred Adventists and special guests packed the Grant's Town Seventh-day Adventist Church on Wednesday night (only standing remaining), January 5, for the opening of Convention 2005.  Pastor Leonard Johnson, president of the Bahamas Conference spoke on the theme "United In Witness of Truth."  Listen to his sermon with free real audio

The Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin, Minister Transport & Aviation; and the Hon Alvin Smith, leader of the opposition in the House of Assembly, were honored guests.  They both greeted the congration.  A surprise guest was Dr. Bernard Nottage, former Minister of Youth and Sports and a medical doctor, also greeted the congregation.  Listen to their greetings:  Martin & Smith   Nottage

More than six hundred packed the Hillview Adventist Church on Thursday night to listen to Dr. Herbert Thompson. His stimulating topic was "Time to Take a Pit Stop."  He emphasized the need to slow down and live.
