111 Baptized At First Baptism
More than three thousand members and visitors packed the two giant tents that Sabbath morning, March 4, 2006, to experience the rich teachings of Dr. Alanzo Smith. People came from all walks of life and all parts of Nassau to attend the service.  There were even visitors from overseas who joined us for the service.

At the end of the service, the crowed joined a motorcade, lead by police out-riders who escorted the convoy of busses and cars to the Western Esplanade (a beach on West Bay Street) for the baptism of one hundred and eleven precious souls.

A special feature for the weekend was the beautiful singing of Lynn Smith, the daughter Drs. Alanzo and June Smith.  She was visiting Nassau from New York for the weekend.  Lynn is a nursing educator at a New York university.

For the first time ever, the service was broadcast live over the internet.  Ninety-three individuals listened and watched the services online over the weekend.  Persons who went online to watch the services were from Bermuda, Great Britain, Jamaica, the United States and the Bahamas.  We are happy for this first beginning.  We encourage you to join us each night (except Mondays and Thursdays) for the next two weeks and also on Sabbath mornings at nine o'clock and be a part of the world-wide ministry.

Another big baptism is planned for Sabbath coming, March 11, 2006.  Remember, persons from any part of the world visiting this site who are desiring to make a decision for Christ can do so online at anytime.  We will do our best to have someone in your area contact you as soon as possible.

Below are photos of the weekend's services and the baptism.  Click on photos to enlarge.
