Heritage." This is the birth place for many of the Scavella's
family members. It is located on the quiet and tranquil, Landrail
Point, Crooked Island, The Bahamas. Crooked Island is located 275
miles Southeast of New Providence. This home is more that 80 years
old.

Bahamas Rock
Iguanas are part of a group of large, ‘dinosaur-like' lizards known
as the West Indian rock iguanas (Cyclora spp.), which are widely
recognized as amongst the most endangered lizards on earth. They
are mostly in the Bahamas National Land and Park in the Exuma
chain of Islands (Cays). Exuma Cays was the first land and sea
park in the world. The Bahamas National Trust, a Conservancy partner,
established this
park in 1959
The Abaco
Parrot found on the island of Abaco, The Bahamas. There are an
estimated 1,100 of these parrots nesting on the souhtern end of Abaco.
Abaco is the northernmost of the Bahamas chain of islands, approximately
150 miles east of southern Florida. The area, over 20,000 acres, has
been declared a Bahamas National Park in an attempt to preserve the
species. Hunting and capture are forbidden.
The Bahama
Mockingbird. This bird is found in abundance on the island of
Andros. The settlement of Staniard Creek , Andros, is one
of the best birding locations in the Bahamas. It is home to a host of
landbirds, including Black-cowled Orioles, Bahama Woodstar hummingbird,
Bahama swallows, Bahama Mockingbirds and Bahama yellow throats

North Long Island, The Bahamas. A beautiful
resort in Long Island.
A place to relax and enjoy.
Flamingos.
The national bird of The Bahamas. The second largest flock of
Flamingos in the world can be found in The Bahamas on the island of
Great Inagua, almost 400 miles southeast of Nassau.
The Bahamas
Seagull. During this time of the year (April and May) literally
thousands of Seagulls can be found miles inland on the banks of Lake
Cunningham, New Providence.
Tay Bay Beach,
Harbour Island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas. Harbour island is a small,
quiet, and beautiful island located north of the main land, Eleuthera.
There is full employment and no crime. It is a place where visitors from
around the world come to to rest and relax
Bahamian Bird,
Stripe-Headed Tanager, on a tree in Grand Bahama. This bird is not
found anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Pink Sands Beach,
Harbour
Island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas. There are several beaches in The
Bahamas with soft, power-like, pink sand. Yes, it is sand made
from the pink coral. It is beautiful.

The Hermitage,
Cat Island, The Bahamas. A hike up 63-meter Mt. Alvernia to this small
abbey will culminate in a panoramic view of

"Blessed" is a
singing group consisting of Adventist youth from various Adventist
churches in the on the island of New Providence, Bahamas. They enjoy
singing simple hymns, anthems and gospel music.
