Adelma Penn the Newest Adventist
Attorney-at-Law,
After successfully passing her bar exam on Monday, June 25, 2007, Adelma
Penn officially became an attorney in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. She
gives special thanks to all her friends and the church family for their
prayers. She is an active member of the Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist
Church. In her own words: “It was only Jesus that brought me through
because I did not have adequate time to prepare. As a mater of fact on the
first exam, I could not start; I cried for nearly one hour and had to leave
the exam room. Thank God for the encouragement of the invigilator who made
me go back to write the exam. She told me that I needed to get over that
hurdle now, or it could be more difficult later on. I was able to write
that exam in two hours instead of three. To God be the Glory, great things
he has done.” Adelma is a registered dietitian and has worked for the
Public Hospital Authority at the Princess Margaret Hospital for many years
and also served as Director of Food
and Nutrition for the Ministry of Health.
Congratulations Adelma Penn

Seventy-nine years of living.
Seventy-nine years of loving.
Countless years of building--generations unending.
The glue and patriarch of our family he was.
His memories live on--beyond his death.
Faithful to his beliefs until his last breath
A wiser man we've never met.
A husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
He left his mark on our hearts and our teary eyes.
We miss a husband and a special dad. May his memories live on
