Gladstone
Ferguson Dies
Gladstone Ferguson, a
member of the Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau went fishing
in the Nassau Harbor near Paradise Island on Thursday night, September 6,
2007, at about 8 o'clock with two others. Around 10 p.m. his little 17-feet
boat was struck by a vessel, and he was thrown over board. The other two
(Wenzel King and his eleven-year-old son) survived. The Defense Force
patrol boat and Sea Rescue personnel did not find Brother Ferguson's
lifeless body until the next day (Friday afternoon, September 7, 2007). He
was 78 (Born March 1, 1928). We extend our sincerest condolences to the
entire family, especially his wife, Viola. (Brother Gladstone is the
father of Elamae Graham, Ethelyn Ferguson, and five other children.)
Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 23, 2007, at 12 noon at the
Centreville Church.
It’s A Boy!
A
son was born to Wendell and Lakeischa McMillan on Friday, September 7, 2007,
at the Washington Adventist Hospital, Tokoma Park, Maryland, USA. The son’s
name is Wendell Roosevelt McMillan III. He is the first child of the
McMillians and the first grandson of Drs. Wendell and Althea McMillan.

Rolle Rolle celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, September
11, 2007. Vernal is an outstanding lay working in the Bahamas
Conference and member of the Real Harvest Adventist Church.
Brothers Love Gospel Band In Concert
[September
4, 2007] Brothers Love Gospel Band will be in a musical extravaganza
today, September 8, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at the Bethany Seventh-day Adventist
Church. They will be dedicating their musical instruments followed by a live
concert with guest artists: Maranatha Youth Choir, New Englerston Youth
Choir, Dulcie Rolle and others.

Travel towards the airport (J.F. Kennedy Drive), make the first right
immediately after passing the lake, come to the T-Junction and make another
right, continue to drive for about 300 yards, make a right at the Real
Estate sign (yellow and white wall on the left) and yellow condominiums, you
will see the building (Church), at the top of the hill.

Bahamian Lay Worker Dies

Daniel Varence of Miami, Florida
and a pioneer of the Englerston Church, died early Tuesday morning, August
28,2007 at his home in Florida, U.S.A. He was 90 years old.
It's a
Boy!
A
baby boy was born to Kimberly and Curtis Bryan on Monday, September 3,
2007, 8:04 a.m., at the Prince Margaret Hospital. His name is
El-roy Matthias Clifton weighing 7lbs. & 9oz. Kimberly is the
chief accountant for the Bahamas Conference and Curtis is the associate
youth director.
