Kenny
V. A. Deveaux was elected to serve as the Stewardship Director
for the Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists on January 4,
2007. He has been working at the Bahamas Conference since June
of 1980. He served as an accountant at the
headquarters and then Business Manager of Bahamas Academy before
becoming the manager of the Adventist Book and Nutrition Center in
2002. Kenny earned a Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration from Northern Caribbean University in 1980 and
completed the Master's Degree in Business Administration from Nova
Southeastern University, Florida, in 2004. He is
currently serving as the head local elder at the Grant's Town
Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau, The Bahamas. The Grant's
Town Adventist church is the second oldest church in the Bahamas and
has the largest membership of more than 2,000 members. He has
served as Stewardship Director for many years at the church.
He brings a wealth of knowledge in
business, planning and administration. He enjoys
serving God and others. He is the son of Mavis Deveaux, a
retired teacher at Bahamas Academy. He is married to Darlene
and they have two children, Ken and Danielle. |
