Eustacia Jennings
Eustacia Jennings, affectionately known as "Stacey" is a former head girl and 1995
graduate of Bahamas Academy. She is the proud daughter of Eustace and Bernadette Jennings of the Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church. After Bahamas Academy she completed an Associate of Arts Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics at the College of the Bahamas and received the Governor General's Award. She then went on to McGill University in Montreal, Canada where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Environmental Studies with Great Distinction.
She returned to the Bahamas and taught very briefly at Bahamas Academy. Following her goal of being a professional student she went on to the University of Houston-Clear Lake to obtain a Masters in Environmental Management. She is currently working full-time as an Environmental Services Manager and attending school part-time in pursuit of her Doctorate degree. She also serves as an active member and youth director of the Fondren Southwest Adventist Worship Center in Houston, Texas. In September 2005 she will go full-time into the PhD degree program at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. We pray for God's continued guidance in her live. Ashton Andrew McFall
He is young, energetic, and has a call from God to preach. Ashton McFall, age 19, a sophomore
at Northern Caribbean University, Jamaica, was inspired to be involved in ministry when he was in grade eight at Bahamas Academy. At that time he did not know that he would actually be a pastor, but he felt that God was preparing him for something special. It was after being asked to speak at a youth’s day at the Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church, that he felt a direct hand leading him to become a minister. He was only fourteen at the time. As a student of Bahamas Academy he a good example of one being led by Christ. His godly example, meek and quiet spirit, was an influence on his friends. He became the chaplain for the United Student Movement and the Senior Class of 2004.
Ashton is the older of two children to Andrew and Phoebe McFall of the Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau. He served as the Sabbath Secretary and was involved in youth activities. In August of 2005, Ashton will begin his second year as a Religion major at Northern Caribbean University. He is involved at NCU in a student sponsored radio program called "A Brand New World Ministries." He is also a member of the Campus Ministerial Association Executive board as assistant secretary.
Ashton’s goal is to help to lead people to Christ and become a vibrant pastor of the Adventist Church. His hobbies are basketball, softball, and helping people. You can reach him at a_mcfall@hotmail.com
Melisa Willette Wilson
A quiet, graceful young lady, and a student of The College of the Bahamas, Melisa Wilson, age
18, is studying to become a computer network administrator. Melisa graduated from Bahamas Academy June 2004. Melisa’s goal is to become a network administrator in a giant company and to be skilled in all areas of computer technology, design, repair, and administration. Melisa is a student worker at the Bahamas Conference this summer.
Melisa is the older of two children to Franklyn and Wilma Wilson of the Grant’s Town Seventh-day Adventist Church. She serves as a junior deaconesses, assistant church clerk, assistant communications director. Melisa is one of the summer student workers at the conference this year. Terry Antonio Tanis
Terry Antonio Tanis, 22, a native of James Cistern, Eleuthera, Bahamas, will begin his third year
as a religion major at Northern Caribbean University in August of 2005. Terry is an enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and never-short-of-words young man. He likes being a part of the action. He enjoys meeting and helping people. He is currently the assistant director of the National Association for the Prevention of Starvation (NAPS) Jamaica. He is busy in NAPS Jamaica parenting a new church that NAPS built in Quick Step, a little town between Trelawney and St Elizabeth.
Terry’s goal is to become a global evangelist. He enjoys preaching in various of parts of Jamaica and being a listening ear to those who are hurting. His hobbies are playing basketball, softball, scuba diving, and talking to people. You can reach him at terrytanis4@hotmail.com
Paulette LaTanya Miller
Paulette LaTanya Miller is the 22 year old daughter of Ms. LeAnna Deveaux and grand
daughter of Mr. Percy and Mrs. Roceta Miller. She is a proud member of the Grant's Town Seventh-day Adventist Church. Paulette, a young lady who is known by her contagious smile is a very outgoing, cooperative, and energetic person. Currently, Paulette is a final year Business Management student at Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Jamaica; after which, she dreams of becoming a successful business person. She is also a part-time worker at the Bahamas Adventist Book Center in Nassau. In her spare time, Paulette enjoys computer related activities, traveling, reading, socializing and spending time with family and friends.
