First Quarter’s Crusades Update
The Spirit of evangelism continued as we witnessed baptisms from the various crusades this past Sabbath.  First baptism results indicate that God has again added to His church those who will be saved.

The Voice of Hope Crusade with Evangelist Leonard A. Johnson has reported a baptism of eight precious souls.

The Family Life Crusade with Evangelist Eric D. Clarke is reporting a baptism of eleven (11).

The Path to Truth Crusade featuring Evangelist Michael D. Toote is also reporting a baptism of eleven (11) after just two weeks of meetings. According to Dr. Toote, baptisms are planned for the next two Sabbaths.

Crusade at the Berea SDA Church began on Sunday night, March 17, 2002, under the enthusiastic preaching of Evangelist Owusu Boateng, who under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit inspired those in attendance with the word of God, admonishing them to make Jesus their choice. The meetings were spirit filled led in songs of praise by a lively song service director. Meetings are held nightly at 7 o’clock. All are encouraged to attend.

In spite of the obstacles, God has certainly blessed in these campaigns. A major concern voiced by all is the low level of membership participation. We want to encourage you, brethren, to do more to support the Crusades in your areas. Let none say "There is nothing I can do." There is something to be done by everyone if all we do is attend. Let us seek to invite our friends, our family members, and the backslidden members. If you want to see them saved in God’s kingdom, let us invite them to the meetings. There is too much evil, too much violence prevailing and invading our land. The one you invite today, may be a life you help to save tomorrow. The hour is late and God needs you to point others to Him, that they might be saved. The servant of the Lord said in Testimonies, Volume 6, page 67, "Pray with these souls by faith bring them to the foot of the cross. Carry their minds with your mind and fix the eye of faith where you look upon Jesus, the sin bearer. Get them to look from their poor sinful selves to the Saviour and the victory is won.." - L. C. Rolle, Ministerial Secretary

Teachers Attend Education Workshop
Teachers at Bahamas Academy were refreshed and invigorated by the superb presentation made by Dr. William Greenthe Union department of Education.

On Sunday past teachers in both elementary and secondary divisions joined for worship and support when Pastor Errol Thomas and Drs. Green from NCU hosted a worship on the theme "Integrating Faith and Learning."

In his worship thought, Pastor Thomas reminded the teachers that everything that they do should demonstrate an integration of faith and learning. Teachers, he said, must model what they believe as Jesus did.

The workshop came as a breath of fresh air at this time in the school year when teachers are looking for new ideas and strategies to continue through the year. The workshop proved to be both professionally fulfilling and spiritually uplifting. - Celeste Creighton

Pastor Wilfred Adderley - A Powerful Message Excitement saturated the air as more than 1,200 students packed the S.C.McPherson Junior High School on Monday morning. They sang the song "Alive, Alive" with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. God's presence was felt in that tightly packed auditorium. The occasion was a special service to celebrate "The Risen King" and to pay tribute to one of our students who had died.

Pastor Wilfred Adderley, pastor of the Berea Seventh-day Adventist Church, was the guest speaker. What a message! The students and teachers were blessed by the words delivered to the S.C.McPherson family. He had a message for each group within the family of S.C.McPherson from God. We were truly blessed as hearts were touched. The message was received with much thanksgiving.

After the delivery of the message, the room was buzzing with approval and declarations of the blessing received. The students and teachers were truly touched by this powerful message. Pastor Adderley planted the seed and I am sure that God will do the rest. Let us continue to be a beacon to those around us through our individual ministry of uplifting the name of Jesus, our Saviour and Lord.

Special thanks are extended to Pastor Wilfred Adderley who has represented the Adventist Family in a commendable way. May God continue to anoint him with His Holy Spirit as he ministers to others who have not yet accepted Christ as their personal Saviour. Pray that we will all be witnesses for Christ especially in our workplace. To God be the glory, great things He has done.- Terri Dames, Teacher at S. C. McPherson School
